The idea that humans do not easily concede from both external and internal struggles has always been present. It is often talked about especially (and conveniently) in moments of calamity, mainly to raise the morale of those who are affected. Human resilience is a truly curious thing. We often find it hard to imagine ourselves at the center of a tragedy; though when push comes to shove and it actually happens to us, we often persevere—though not without scars.
We always find ourselves in difficult situations—some more often than others. But still, how are we able to keep on going?
